Have the notebook, but the writing just won’t come. :( Talk about a writer’s block that’s more than two years old.

1. Run Chromium OS on it!

2. Run Calibre and Sigil to organize and format my ebook collection to transfer to iPod and Kindle.

3. Use the 320gb hard drive to store my music collection, with songs at least 256kbps VBR each. :P

4. Hook the machine up to my TV for some movie goodness while enjoying popcorn with the dogs.

5. Play my favorite games like Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 on the highest possible settings with the highest possible volume, headphones on and lights off.

6. Finally jailbreak my recently out-of-warranty iPod!

7. Finally organize all of my old and recent photos in one hub! Well, that doesn’t really sound like something fun to do, but it’ll sure be sweet to see all my photos in one place.

8. Do my freelancing work on the go, in case I get bored of staying cooped up at home. Free coffee shop wi-fi, here I come!

9. Personalize the boring black facade with stickers from Gelaskins, Skinit or whatever design I can think of. Kitties!

10. Cat heating pad while I stand around and say “aw” at all the cuteness. Don’t forget the camera.

But seriously, you don’t need to; I’ve got this. :P

With a few years’ experience of being tied to a powerful desktop system, and another couple of years to my faithful workhorse laptop, I’m now looking for a lighter laptop that can keep up with me on the go.

That is why I think that the answer to the question above is: I am a Lenovo IdeaPad U260.

It’s thin, it’s light, and hey, it’s mocha brown! How can you not like a brown laptop? :P

It’s the perfect on-the-go companion to help me with light office tasks (writing, editing, etc.) and keep me company with its HD graphic-enhanced video capabilities. And did I mention how thin and light it is? I can fit it in my spacious bag without need for a separate laptop bag!

Just look at that eyecandy…
